  Trumpeter Swans on the Odell Creek Headwaters Restoration

One of Montana's largest birds, adult males can weigh up to 28 pounds with a wing span up to 6 feet. Once they bred in the valley but today are found only during winter months. As the restoration of habitat on the Odell Creek Headwaters continues it will be possible to re-introduce breeding pairs of Trumpeter Swans so that they may be seen year round.
